How to cure a hungover in Los Cabos // Bloody Mary Recipe

Step 1: Ingredients

• 2oz vodka of your choice
• 8oz spicy tomato juice
• 2oz Bloody Mary mix
• olives
• Tabasco Sauce, Worcestershire sauce
• Celery Salt
• Ice
• Cracked black pepper
• Hot ‘n’ Spicy Pickles
• Martini Shaker
• Pub Glass

Step 2: Mixing

One:  fill shaker with ice, the amount of ice varies with how many drinks you will be mixing and how much ice you enjoy in your drinks.

Two: Add in 8oz of spicy tomato juice along with 2oz of Bloody Mary mix. When it comes to Bloody Mary mix it does not matter what brand you use, just try as many as it takes to find the one that you like best.

Three: Add 1oz Tabasco Sauce and two dashes of Worcestershire sauce, you can add more or less Tabasco it just depends on how spicy you want your drink to be, you can also leave the Tabasco out if you do not like spicy, the drink will be the same either way.

Four: Add in Franks hot sauce, along with cracked black pepper. When it comes to adding these ingredients I always say to add as much as needed to meet your taste.

Five: Add in celery salt, any brand of celery salt will do. The reason that celery salt is so important is that it helps take some of the bite away from the hot sauce and Tabasco sauce. It is also essential when it comes to the flavor and fullness of the drink.

Step 3: Pouring and Garnishing

One: Once you have all of these ingredients added in the shaker, close the shaker and shake it as long as needed to mix all of the ingredients and to chill the drink to perfect serving temperature.

Two: When your drink is chilled and ready to serve remove lid and let stand. While you are letting your drink stand take your tall pub glass and apply a small amount of celery salt around the rim of the glass that way you will taste celery while you drink. When you have the salt around the top of the glass, pour your Bloody Mary into the glass.

Three: Once in the glass it is time to add the garnishes to drink, when garnishing the drink it is all about the appearance. For garnishing you should use zesty pickles and olives. I usually insert a toothpick into the olives so that they stay on top of the drink so the drinker can enjoy them while drinking the Bloody. For the pickle I just insert a wedge into the glass so it stands straight up in the glass.

Road Trip: California's legendary Highway 1

Still, there are a few great road trips that can inveigle almost anybody, a few that can instill a lifelong curiosity about what lies beyond the next hairpin turn. One of those road trips is the Highway 1, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, which stretches from Mexico to the town of Leggett in northern California but is perhaps most captivating between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The Highway 1 is the sort of road you see in car ads and movies, one that begs to be driven in a red convertible. It has stomach-dropping turns, wide, clean beaches, and cliffs that plunge to the frothing ocean. It cleaves to the edge of the continent in a way that no road on the more developed East Coast does. It also offers up acres of soft green farmland. No wonder this highway is one of America's unofficial pilgrimage routes—for beatniks, surfers, food groupies chasing the latest fresh taste sensation, and thrill-seekers of all sorts.

Los Cabos to Host G20 Summit in 2012

Mexico's President Felipe Calderon has officially selected Los Cabos as the host city for the 2012 G20 Summit, which will be held in June 2012. The destination's first-class hotel and airport infrastructure were noted as two important factors in the decision.

"Los Cabos is extremely proud and honored to be selected as the official host city for the G20 Summit as this is an incredible opportunity for our destination as well as for the country of Mexico," says Gonzalo Franyutti, President of the Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau. "Los Cabos has the exclusive appeal, a contemporary tourism infrastructure and the safety record required to host an event of this global caliber. As a haven for VIPs throughout the world, Los Cabos is truly the 'Window to the World' for Mexico.  We look forward to welcoming the G20 delegates and attendees to our destination."

With 13,000 total rooms in the destination, Los Cabos will dedicate 11,000 rooms to the G20 Summit to accommodate the more than 7,000 attendees, while the Mexican government will invest more than $47,000,000 into the development and promotion of the Summit.

In addition, a new 653,400 square foot Convention Center will house the G20 meetings and events.  Designed to accommodate over 6,000 people, the Convention Center represents $100,000,000 investment by the federal government and a $1,500,000 investment from the State of Baja California Sur. The municipality of Los Cabos endowed a 15-acre tract of land, which is located alongside a private golf community and boasts magnificent views for the building of the Convention Center, and the Los Cabos Tourism Board has also invested almost $1,000,000 in the project.  The Convention Center will be designated a "green" facility, and will be designed with energy efficiency in mind and will be equipped with solar panels. Construction of the center is set to begin during the first week of November.

Whale Watching in Los Cabos

Whale watching in Mexico is one of the great experiences an animal loving traveler can have. Grey whales make a migration to the Sea of Cortez each fall from the northern Bering waters to birth their young and spend the winter in the warm waters near the equator.

The best place to observe these gentle whales with their calves is Magdalena Bay off of the coast of Los Cabos. Whale watching will reveal colonies of grey whales that are among the most gentle whale species in the world. Grey whale mothers are incredibly protective and make especially attentive caretakers.

Another advantage to whale watching tours in Mexico is that travelers can also take part in many other great activities on the gorgeous Baja Peninsula. Deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, and beautiful beaches make the Baja Peninsula an excellent destination. Whale watching is just one of the many things to do off the coast of Los Cabos, but it is often one of the most memorable.

Remember Transvip can receive you in the aiport and take to any place of the beautiful zone of Los Cabos. Sharing with you the most comfortable suburbans, vans and buses with A/C and bilingual guides-drivers with perfect knowledge of this paradise.
